We ‘signed’ Gabriel Jesus for Chelsea and he was brilliant under Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea are reportedly just one of the many clubs interested in signing Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus this summer.

Romelu Lukaku’s underwhelming performances in the 2021/22 campaign and reported desire to return to Inter ahead of next season could see the Blues make a move for a striker in the summer transfer window. Jesus is expected to leave City after it was confirmed that Erling Haaland will move to the Etihad once the transfer window opens.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Jesus is expected to join a Premier League club this summer with Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all linked with the 25-year-old striker. Thomas Tuchel is set to be significantly backed by new owner Todd Boehly as the Blues head into a crucial transfer window, with Jesus rumored to be one of the club’s targets ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
