The summer transfer window reopens this week as clubs in the Premier League and beyond bid to get plenty of early business over the line.
Arsenal are being strongly linked with Italy striker Gianluca Scamacca as well as Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, though face stiff competition from both Chelsea and Real Madrid. Leicester playmaker Youri Tielemans is another target but favors Champions League football.
Talking of Chelsea, Rafael Leao, Matthijs de Ligt and Ousmane Dembele are also targets, while Manchester United have added Denzel Dumfries to an already extensive list of targets that includes Frenkie de Jong, Jurrien Timber and Darwin Nunez.
Tottenham are stepping up efforts to sign Alessandro Bastoni from Inter, while Lille’s Sven Botman is a back-up option. United’s Marcus Rashford is a surprise reported target.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are trying to wrap up a deal for Scottish sensation Calvin Ramsay and have also entered the race to sign Leeds star Kalvin Phillips, with a further eye on Jude Bellingham. Mo Salah – as well as Angel Di Maria – could be on his way to Barcelona, with Bayern Munich poised to bid again for Sadio Mane.
Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni looks set to finally join Real Madrid in a deal which could be worth £ 82million.

Chelsea transfer news: Jules Kounde becomes an ‘obsession’
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim Sevilla star Jules Kounde has become an “obsession” for Chelsea.
The club were linked with a move for the French international last summer but could not get a deal over the line as Sevilla dug their heels in.
Still, the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen has increased the need for defensive solidity and Kounde is believed to be back at the top of their wish-list.
It is claimed Chelsea are “determined” to finally sign the player, despite fresh interest from Barcelona.
Mohamed Salah: Liverpool star makes contract U-turn
The Mirror claim Mohamed Salah has told friends he would be willing to extend his contract at Liverpool.
The forward has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer of 2023 after a deadlock in talks over an extention.
Widely tipped to leave Anfield then, Salah could reportedly now opt to stay.
While Barca are believed to have promised him they make a move, Salah is now minded to stay at the club where he has won it all.

The Sun claim the club are confident Bukayo Saka will sign a new contract despite apparent interest from both Liverpool and Manchester City.
Having missed out on Champions League football, the worry would surely be Saka could follow the likes of Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas to have left the Emirates in pursuit of glory.
Out of contract in the summer of 2024, not tying him down would Arsenal in a difficult position should they continue to miss out on the top four.
Still, the report suggests there is a feeling behind the scenes the 20-year-old WILL extend.

Italian super-agent Roberto De Fanti has claimed Tottenham have shown in Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.
De Fanti told Caught Offside: “It seems there have been some discussions very recently between the player’s camp and Tottenham Hotspur. The London club feel negotiating a deal for Rashford is virtually impossible though – so that transfer no longer seems an option. ”
He added: “United are confident a club is unlikely to pay [their £80m valuation], especially off the back of a poor season, so they’re almost certain he will stay. They are happy for Rashford to stay too, also because they know that if they did sell him, they would need to replace him and that is not a priority, definitely not this summer anyway. ”
ICYMI: Tielemans open to Leicester exit
Your Tielemans has refused to rule out the prospect of him leaving Leicester this summer, amid Arsenal interest ahead of the final year of his contract.
He told reporters: “That is not out of the question. I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I give everything for the club until the last day.
“But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way. ”
