The summer is upon us as Premier League clubs turn their attention to building new squads for the new campaign ahead.
This transfer window promises to be an intriguing one with Arsenal out to build on their ambitions, Tottenham preparing for the Champions League, and the Todd Boehly era soon getting underway at Chelsea.
There are also Manchester United preparing for a revamp under Erik ten Hag plus Liverpool seeking improvements having once again fallen agonisingly short in the title race.
Fabio Carvalho has already been confirmed by the Reds, who are turning their attention to another young star in the form of Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay.
Over at Arsenal, Youri Tielemans is a key target and the Leicester man has reportedly provided the Gunners with a boost as he contemplates a move to the Europa League. Gabriel Jesus is another target, a player said to also be of interest to Spurs.
Across Europe, Robert Lewandowski is a highly sought after target ahead of the final year of his Bayern Munich contract – although Kylian Mbappe has secured his Paris Saint-Germain future.
Unlike his countryman, Paul Pogba will become a free agent this summer and Juventus are rumored to be the frontrunners for his signature.
The window opens on June 10 and runs until 11pm BST on September 1.

Carlo Ancelotti’s reacts to Kylian Mbappe’s decision to reject Real Madrid

West Ham hold Dennis talks
According to the Daily Express, West Ham have held talks over a possible move for Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis.
Despite a poor season for the club, the Nigerian international impressed on an indiviual basis, scoring 10 times and Watford are reportedly willing to sell for around £ 20m.
AC Milan to extend Fikayo Tomori’s contract
The former Chelsea man has proven a revelation in Serie A and, according to Matt Law, could be in line for a new contract after their Serie A title win.

David James: Jarrod Bowen to Liverpool would be ‘questionable’
Speaking to Genting Casino, the former Liverpool stopper suggested Jurgen Klopp should look elsewhere.
“This season he’s been fantastic. With regards to the recruitment, Liverpool would be looking at more than just a one-season hit. If Bowen is a legitimate target for this summer’s transfer window then that would be questionable, but if he was to continue this kind of form, then I’m sure Liverpool will keep tabs on him. Like the signing of Diaz, he was not the first name on people’s radar. He’s come in, proved he’s a Liverpool player and then they go and get the signing.
“With Liverpool, loads of players are going to be linked and I’d imagine most of the time it’s agents linking them rather than a club pursuing them, but Bowen will definitely be on Liverpool’s radar.”
Spurs hope Fraser Forster will be the first of a raft of summer signings to convince head coach Antonio Conte to remain in charge.
Conte is back in his native Italy on holiday and Spurs’ managing director Fabio Paratici is expected to fly out to meet him at the end of this week for crunch talks over the head coach’s future. The club are expected to guarantee Conte he will be backed in the summer and have control of transfers.
Gareth Bale could PLAY for Real Madrid in the Champions League final
Davide Ancelotti – the son of Real Madrid manager Carlo – hinted Gareth Bale could get a run-out in the Champions League final despite missing the last six weeks with a back problem.
Bale will leave the Spanish capital after five years upon the expiration of his contract next month.
“Gareth is a guy who is loved around the place, from the coaching staff to his team-mates,” said Ancelotti, who was in Wales last weekend attending the FAW’s National Coaches Conference at Newport.
“This season he has struggled with injuries but we are happy to have him available for the final.
“He has already given a lot of trophies to Real Madrid and has a chance to give the club another one.
“He has written the history of the club because, if you see the pictures of the trophies in the big moments of Real Madrid, there is Gareth and, of course, he will be remembered there.”
David Moyes fires transfer warning to West Ham
A furious David Moyes once again hinted at a summer of significant overhaul despite West Ham’s encouraging season and accused his team of lacking “bottle” after they blew the chance to secure a Europa League return on the final day.
The Hammers started Sunday in seventh place but knew that they could leapfrog Manchester United should they win away at Brighton and Ralf Rangnick’s men fail to do so at Crystal Palace.
But while Wilfried Zaha’s strike ensured Palace did Moyes a favor at Selhurst Park, the Scot could only watch as his team failed to take advantage, surrendering a 1-0 lead to go down 3-1 at the Amex.

A Real Madrid return for Ronaldo?
Following Kylian Mbappe’s decision to turn down Real Madrid, Spanish media outlet AS suggest Cristiano Ronaldo is once a target.
The most prolific forward in Real’s history, the fact Manchester United have not qualified for the Champions League could prompt Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford for the second time.
