Mauricio Pochettino won’t get another job in the top six of the Premier League once he is sacked by Paris Saint-Germain as he’s not ‘elite’.
That’s according to talkSPORT host Simon Jordan, who has been less than impressed with the Argentine’s forgettable spell in France.

Pochettino’s time at PSG is up
And he may have ruined his chances of landing another big job
The former Tottenham and Southampton boss broke his trophy duck in the French capital upon arrival in January, winning the nation’s super cup, and this year he took home the Ligue 1 title.
However, Pochettino’s stint fell below expectations, knocked out of the Champions League in the semi-finals at the first attempt, before collapsing against Real Madrid in the last-16 this term.
The 50-year-old was heavily linked to the Manchester United job when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November, and was reportedly Sir Alex Ferguson’s first choice for the role.
Pochettino ended up staying in Paris as United opted for Ralf Rangnick on an interim basis, and Jordan believes the door is now shut on his chances of landing a top six job back in England.
“I’ve always felt that he’s a bridesmaid,” the former Crystal Palace owner said.
“I have always felt that people look at him and give him this standing that I do not think he merited. When he was considered to be a shoo-in for Man United… based upon what?

Pochettino’s route to Old Trafford has been blocked by Erik ten Hag
“There’s no doubt about that he did well [at Tottenham], but we’re talking about a team in the top six. Now Tottenham are there, unless you’re going to make a case for him to go back there, are you going to make a case for him to go to Arsenal?
“I think it would still be a difficult barrier to cross, it would be like crossing the Rubicon going from Tottenham to Arsenal, so where does he land?
“Does he land in Liverpool, does he land in Chelsea, Man City, Man United? I do not think he’s got the gravitas, gravitas is based on winning things.
“He reaps what he sews, he agitated to get out, he hadn’t got his feet under the desk before he was linking himself with the Manchester United job. He’s a top manager, but he’s not an elite. “
