It has been a bit of a rollercoaster of a journey for Renato Sanches so far, with his career set to bring him to Serie A champions Milan.
News that the 24-year-old will be donning red again saw talkSPORT recall one game as a Swansea player, at Stamford Bridge, during his time in the Premier League.
The Swans managed to sign the Portugal international on loan from Bayern Munich in 2017, with then manager Paul Clement using his ties with Carlo Ancelotti to secure the 2016 Golden Boy winner.
Whilst it looked to be one of the greatest Premier League transfers, it never worked out for Sanches, who struggled to cope with the demands and rigors of the English top flight.
And one unlucky moment when he mistook the advertising hoarding for a teammate is what he is unfortunately remembered for in England. In reality he had less than a second to make a decision on a pass and saw the red on the touchline from the corner of his eye.
Sanches returned to Bayern at the end of the campaign, and eventually joined Ligue 1 side Lille on a permanent deal.
It is with the French giants where his career took off, most notably impressing in his side’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League back in February.
He attempted more take-ons than any other player on the pitch (six), more final third passes than any Chelsea player (18) and won the fourth-most ball recoveries on the night (eight).

The midfielder has put his woes behind him, and hit the ground running since then, and is now set to join AC Milan, as a replacement for Barcelona bound Franck Kessie.
Sanches is set to join off the back of another promising season for the former French champions, which has seen him register two goals and five assists in 25 Ligue 1 games.
But, hopefully, playing in red once again will not lead to any more unfortunate incidents when at the Rossoneri!
