Barcelona return to Europa League action for the first time in 18 years this Thursday evening, as they welcome Naples to the Camp Nou in the first leg of their play-off tie, with the winner of the tie able to secure a place in the last 16 of the competition. The ball is cut back to Ferran on the edge of the box but, again, he blazes over the bar.

The ball falls to Ferran in the box and, from a great position, he blazes the ball over the bar. A poor finish from the Spaniard.
Minute 80: Barcelona push for a winner
Dembele is Barcelona’s out ball at the moment, but crosses from both sides just aren’t working for the Catalans at the moment.
Minute 65: Dembele booed
Dembele comes on for Traore, and the Camp Nou welcomes the Frenchman with a chorus of boos and whistles following his contract saga. Busquets comes on for De Jong while Nico makes way for Gavi.
Minute 63: Aubameyang with a good effort
Aubameyang embarks on a mazy solo run before arrowing a shot towards the top corner but it swerves just wide. A positive action from the striker.
Minute 58: Ferran Torres levels from the spot
Jesus is deemed to have handled inside the box after a VAR check. Torres slots away the penalty.
Minute 46: Second half starts
The second period is underway with Barcelona in pursuit of at least an equalizer.
Napoli go into the break a goal in front after Zielinski’s strike, although Barcelona can feel hard done by as Osimhen was clearly offside in the build-up.
Minute 44: Ferran heads wide
It’s not Ferran’s night in front of goal so far. Mingueza swings in a fine cross but the former Valencia forward heads well wide.

Elmas cuts inside Jordi Alba before laying it off for Zielinski who smashes the ball towards goal. Ter Stegen makes a save but the rebound falls to the Pole who lashes the ball in.

Aubameyang lays the ball on a plate for Ferran Torres, but he sends the ball high and wide from a central position.

Osimhen is played through on goal but his effort is denied by the legs of Ter Stegen.

Nico is again the man providing the biggest threat to Napoli, as he drives past a defender before stinging the gloves of Meret.

The ball falls to Nico on the edge of the box but his shot on the bounce goes over the bar.
